魏同權博士具有豐富的工程實踐經驗。他與工業界緊密結合，在嵌入式OS、軟件設計與優化等方面的研究與開發積累了豐富的經驗。在華東師范大學，魏同權博士及其研究小組對嵌入式實時系統的調度算法及實現進行了深入的研究。同時， 魏同權博士在樓宇設計自動化、智能家園社區建設以及安全智能家庭節能等方面也有獨到的研究。在長期的研究及實踐中，魏同權博士積累了大量產、學、研相結合的經驗，具有理論研究和產品研發有機結合的厚實基礎。
